1. Who we are
VeganTakeaway.com is operated by Mussie Haile, Guiding-Ventures, Lohmühlenstraße 65, 12435 Berlin, Germany ("we"). These terms apply when you use the website or submit a restaurant to it.
2. What we provide
VeganTakeaway.com is a free directory of vegan and plant-based restaurants. We don't operate these restaurants and we don't sell, order or deliver food. Any arrangement you make with a restaurant is between you and that restaurant. We may change, suspend or end the site or any listing at any time.
3. Listing information
We try to keep listings accurate, but we can't guarantee that details such as opening hours, prices, addresses, phone numbers or map locations are correct or current. Please check with the restaurant before you visit.
Allergies and dietary needs: a listing is not a guarantee that a restaurant's food is vegan or free from allergens. If you have an allergy or a strict dietary requirement, always confirm with the restaurant.
Photos on listing pages are illustrative stock images. They don't show the restaurant or its food, unless stated otherwise.
4. Submitting a restaurant
When you submit a restaurant, you confirm that:
- the information is accurate, to the best of your knowledge
- you're allowed to share it, and it doesn't infringe anyone's rights
- it doesn't contain unlawful, misleading or advertising content unrelated to the restaurant
You allow us, free of charge and without time limit, to review, edit, translate and publish what you submit as part of the directory. You keep any rights you have in it. Submitting doesn't guarantee a listing, and we decide what to publish. Listings are currently free.
5. Corrections and removal
If a listing about your business is wrong, or you'd like it changed or removed, email [email protected] and we'll deal with it promptly.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the site unlawfully, interfere with how it works, submit spam or false information, or copy the directory in bulk with automated tools. Search engines may crawl the site in line with our robots.txt file.
7. Content and third-party rights
The site's text and its compilation of listings are protected by copyright. Photos are from Unsplash under its license. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we aren't responsible for their content.
8. Liability
We're liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we're liable only for breach of an essential obligation (one that makes proper use of the site possible and on which you may rely), limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical. Otherwise our liability for slight negligence is excluded.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the site changes. The version on this page applies from its date. For anything you submitted earlier, the terms in force at the time continue to apply.
10. Governing law
German law applies. If you're a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest stays in force.
